Job Description

The Management Analyst will analyze operations and identify ways to increase efficiency and profits. The management analyst is responsible for partnering with business customers, including leadership stakeholders, clients, and vendors, for documenting analytics requirements to transform data into actionable insights and improve processes, which ultimately gain efficiency and profits for the enterprise. The management analyst must be able to structure conversations to gain insights, gather requirements, ask questions to solicit business needs, and identify business needs from an analytics solution’s perspective. Essential to the position is adapting to a dynamic environment while proactively driving high quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Perform deep dives and analytics on various datasets.
  • Facilitate and drive financial analytics discussions with various stakeholders.
  • Aid in the capital budgeting, forecasting, and expenditure planning processes
  • Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
  • Collects and analyzes annual reports, procedures, system design, and other data useful to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain ad hoc analytics requests and business performance reporting from operations and other stakeholders.
  • Prepares and provides documentation and/or training materials as needed to facilitate implementation of suggested changes.
  • Assist in preparing executive-level analytics presentations from time to time.
  • Collaborate across functional teams to solve problems and convey critical messages using data visualization approaches, techniques, and methods
  • Present analytical findings in reports, summaries, dashboards, graphs, charts, and maps to provide operations with detailed intelligence about the state of the project.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must Reside in Metro Manila Area 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field required; MBA or related master’s degree preferred. 
  • 5+ years of using data to gain insights and drive solutions for process improvement.
  • 3+ years of experience using statistical and financial tools such as ratio analysis, trends analysis, regression analysis, ANOVA, correlation analysis, etc.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Tool Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills required with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills..
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Must be comfortable using and adapting to new and existing technology.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to handle work to tight deadlines and the pressure of executive requests.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize while completing high-profile projects and tasks or deadlines.
  • Good presentation skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Certifications/License(s) Required: 
  • Financial Analysis
  • Continual process improvement methodologies – Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.
  • Certified Management Consultant (CMC) or similar designation preferred

Systems Experience Required: 
  • EXCEL
  • POWER QUERY/PIVOT
  • POWER BI
