We are expanding our team and looking to hire a Medicare & ACA Licensed Agents. We are seeking experienced Medicare & ACA Licensed Agents who will be responsible for providing consultative recommendations and answers inbound calls of those interested in purchasing insurance plans and benefits. This includes qualification of Consumer, complete needs assessment, educate on plan benefits, and steer towards an appropriate Medicare or Marketplace plan when applicable. Agent may also make outbound calls to potential members requesting additional information.


  • Answer inbound prospective client calls to begin the sales process to generate qualified leads for follow-up by the Consumer Sales Associate or an appropriate sales team member
  • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of consumer products as well as State, Federal and Government rules and regulations
  • Assist members in renewing their coverage 
  • Responds to inquiries from members to ensure information is provided in a timely manner
  • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of various areas of the health plan that influence or affect the level of service our members receive to promote confidence in the client brand to improve retention and promote referrals
  • Interacts with new and existing members to create a positive relationship and to ensure confidence in their membership decision
  • Educates members on programs and resources to improve individual member experience
  • Utilizes various client systems to manage work flows, tasks, campaigns, quotes and production
  • Regular attendance is required in order to carry out the essential functions of the position
  • Reviews and meets ongoing competency requirements of the role to maintain the skills, knowledge and abilities to perform, within scope, role specific functions
  • Meet and maintain requirements for agent licensure, appointments, and annual product certification

Basic Qualifications

  • Must have active Health & Life Insurance License 
  • Must have AHIP & FFM certification completed prior to the start of training. BP to purchase. 
  • 2 years of previous Medicare & U65 experience 
  • Demonstrated ability to listen skilfully, collect relevant information, determine needs, and consult with caller to recommend appropriate product to fit their needs  
  • Strong computer and telephone multitasking skills including: the ability to effectively search for and type information on the computer, navigate through multiple windows and screens quickly, and inputting information accurately while keeping pace with the call  
  • Is a people person with the ability to sell. 
  • Ability to multi-task, which includes the ability to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product. 
  •  Ability to remain focused and productive each day though tasks may be repetitive.
  • Ability to work regularly scheduled shifts within the specified hours of operation including the training period, where lunches and breaks are scheduled, with the flexibility to adjust daily schedule, and work over-time and/or weekends, as needed 
Certifications / License(s) Required: 
  • State of MA Life and Health Insurance Producer License
